Dr. Doan was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and received his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin where he received his Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry. The following year he received an additional bachelor’s degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) in Dental Laboratory Science where he was able to hone his lab and hand skills. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS) at The University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry (OUCOD).
Dr. Doan has an emphasis on quality dentistry, building relationships, patient satisfaction, and a lifelong pursuit towards excellence. To him, his patients are family and they always come first. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Texas Dental Association.
Dr. Doan likes to travel, enjoys rock climbing, and loves nature and all outdoor activities. During his free time, he is currently training to become a contestant on American Ninja Warrior.
For over a decade Dr. Nelson has been practicing oral surgery in the DFW area. Dentistry is in his family as he is a fourth generation dentist. Dr. Nelson's brother is an orthodontist in the Houston area and his father continue to practice dentistry at 72 years of age.
Dr. Nelson is committed to the delivery of the best oral surgery treatment and experience possible. His clinical experience as a practitioner and instructor includes implant dentistry where he utilizes the very latest technology in planning and delivering the very best in clinical care.
Dr. Nelson studied dentistry at UCLA and studied medicine at Texas Tech. He is a native of Los Angeles but came to Texas to settle down as his new home. He completed his Oral Surgery training at Baylor in Dallas and continues to serve the oral surgery program as an Associate Clinical Professor for over ten years. Many of the current dentists throughout Dallas were once his students.
Dr. Nelson has four children and lives in Frisco where he enjoys golf, travel, snow skiing and serving his church and community. His latest hobby is running several half marathons with his fiancée Rachel.
Dr. Lyle Schofield is a bilingual orthodontic specialist. He completed both his dental education and orthodontic specialty training in New York City. As chief resident at Columbia University's orthodontic program he garnered scholarship recognition for both academic and clinical excellence. As a dental student, his ethical and academic performance qualified him for induction into the national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU). Two international humanitarian outreaches to the island of Grenada and time living in the Dominican Republic have provided cultural perspective to Dr. Schofield. He enjoys working with patients from all walks of life. When he's not playing with his two beautiful children, Dr. Schofield enjoys all sports, preparing for obstacle course races and playing the guitar.
